Catherine Chiniara Charrett is a Lecturer in Global Politics at the University of Westminster.  Before that Catherine taught International Relations at Queen Mary University of London.  Their research is on anticolonial and queer approaches to European – Palestinian relations and Catherine held an Early Career Research Fellowship with the Independent Social Research Foundation for research on post-empire transnational security and policing networks.  Catherine uses transdisciplinary methods and has produced two drag performance pieces on European-Palestinian politics and has a single authored manuscript entitled, The EU, Hamas and the 2006 Palestinian Elections: A Performance in Politics (2019).  Catherine's current research is on policing in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
