Eduroam

Through the eduroam (education roaming) interconnected network, students and staff of participating academic institutions can access the Internet via WLAN during a guest stay at the sites of all participating organizations.

For guests of participating eduroam-affiliated institutions the account of the participating affiliated institution with the corresponding password is used. Users must contact their academic institution to find out whether their username (account) is activated for the use of the eduroam network.

Technical Information

Presentation Requirements

Each lecture room is equipped with a computer and a data projector. Please ensure you have easy online access to your presentation or save your presentations on a USB stick. Please come to the lecture room early to see if your presentation works properly.

Please ensure your presentation is in a commonly compatible format (PowerPoint /PDF).

The preferred presentation format is a PowerPoint file (*.pptx) with a 16:9 aspect ratio. However, you can also bring a video file, PDF file, or PowerPoint in a 4:3 aspect ratio, or you don’t have to bring a presentation at all.

Please note that Apple Keynote and Prezi presentations are not supported and must be converted into PPT or PDF files.

  • First letter= day of the conference: W (Wednesday) / T (Thursday) / F (Friday)

A Quiet Room is a dedicated, comfortable, and silent space that is shielded from public view and can be used by participants for activities such as meeting/call, prayer or mental recharge.
