In 2026, our flagship event will take place in Portugal, at the crossroads of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, offering a unique vantage point for exploring contemporary international relations. Following the remarkable success of PEC 2025 in Bologna, we will gather in Lisbon's inspiring scholarly environment at the ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon.

Internet Access
Eduroam
Through the eduroam (education roaming) interconnected network, students and staff of participating academic institutions can access the Internet via WLAN during a guest stay at the sites of all participating organizations.
For guests of participating eduroam-affiliated institutions the account of the participating affiliated institution with the corresponding password is used. Users must contact their academic institution to find out whether their username (account) is activated for the use of the eduroam network.
Public Wi-Fi
Public Wi-Fi will be availalble in the venue.
Registration
Opening Hours
The Registration desk will be located on the 1st floor of the Building 2.
Delegates who have not yet settled the registration fee in full will be asked to pay the amount due.
The registration desk accepts Credit / Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard) only.
- Kindly note that the emission of a new badge is charged with an administrative fee of 10 EUR.

Information for Speakers
Presentation Requirements
Each lecture room is equipped with a computer and a data projector. Please ensure you have easy online access to your presentation or save your presentations on a USB stick. Please come to the lecture room early to see if your presentation works properly.
Please ensure your presentation is in a commonly compatible format (PowerPoint /PDF).
The preferred presentation format is a PowerPoint file (*.pptx) with a 16:9 aspect ratio. However, you can also bring a video file, PDF file, or PowerPoint in a 4:3 aspect ratio, or you don’t have to bring a presentation at all.

The conference mobile application will be available to download in mid-August. You will get instant access to the full programme, and the latest news before and during the conference.

Insurance
The Organizers do not accept liability for personal injury, loss or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons during or while travelling to the Conference.
Quiet Room
A Quiet Room is a dedicated, comfortable, and silent space that is shielded from public view and can be used by participants for activities such as meeting/call, prayer or mental recharge.
Certificate of Attendance
All registered delegates present on-site are entitled to receive a Certificate of Attendance. The certificate can be downloaded from the Online Services Portal after the Conference.
