GENERAL INFORMATION & DEADLINES
- Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the online submission system by 11 February 2026. Abstracts received via e-mail or after the deadline will not be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.
- One presenting author can submit only one abstract.
- Abstracts are to be submitted to one of the workshop topics.
- You are allowed to choose an alternative workshop. In the case that your abstract is rejected by your first choice, it will be considered by the second workshop you select while submitting the abstract.
- Abstracts may be amended in the online submission system until the submission deadline of 11 February 2026.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the workshop convenors. They will decide which abstracts will be accepted or rejected.
- All presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by 16 March 2026.
- All presenting authors are obliged to register by 28 April 2026.
- Only the authors with submitted abstracts are allowed to attend the conference. All presenting authors will see a registration button in the online submission system. If co-authors want to attend as well, please inform the conference secretariat at abstracts.ewis26@eisa-net.org. Co-authors are also obliged to be registered by 28 April 2026.
ABSTRACT FORMATTING
- All abstracts must be written in English.
- When submitting your abstract, consider and select the most suitable workshop and one alternative workshop, in case your abstract is not accepted to your first-choice workshop.
- The abstract title is limited to 20 words. Please capitalise your abstract title using the Title Case (e.g. ‘My Abstract About İzmir Is Very Interesting’).
- Up to 4 authors can be included (incl. presenting author). The person who submits the abstract is automatically considered to be the contact person for all future correspondence. The authors’ order could be changed if needed by swapping the names on the list of co-authors. The first name is considered to be the main author. The presenting author could be amended in the online submission system while managing co-authors.
- The maximum abstract length is 250 words, which is approximately 2/3 of an A4 page. Pictures/charts/special formulas are not allowed within the abstract text.
Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact the conference secretariat at any time at abstracts.ewis26@eisa-net.org.
