19th Pan-European Conference on International Relations

In 2026, our flagship event will take place in Portugal, at the crossroads of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, offering a unique vantage point for exploring contemporary international relations. Following the remarkable success of PEC 2025 in Bologna, we will gather in Lisbon's inspiring scholarly environment at the ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES EISA PEC 2026 

REGISTRATION OPENS ON 26 MARCH 2026.

How to register 

  • Registrations can be made through the Online Registration Portal. 
  • You may wish to use a personal email address to create a new account (especially if your work email has strict security settings that may block emails from the EISA PEC 2026 Secretariat).  
  • If you have attended past EISA events, you may already have an account.  
  • If you are registering another person, you may create an account with your details and fill in the delegate’s information on the registration form with their consent.  
  • After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration number.  

Registration Fees  

Non-EISA Members 400 EUR 
EISA Members*  220 EUR 
EISA Student Members**   180 EUR 

The above fee includes a local VAT of 23%. 

All registration deadlines are based on the local time (CET/CEST). 

*All EISA members are entitled to get a reduced registration fee for our events. To qualify for the respective fee, membership must be valid during Workshops dates. For information about the EISA membership, please visit the membership section on our website.  

**Student rate is available only for participants attending a university or institute of higher education. Students must provide proof of their student status. Students must have a valid EISA membership during the event.  

If you are participating in the programme, please make sure to pay your registration fee before the deadline of 21 May 2026.  

Unpaid or partially paid registrations will not be considered valid until paid in full. 

Registration Fees for the conference include: 

  • Admission to all onsite sessions 
  • Access to the exhibition area 
  • All official documentation 
  • Grand Reception 
  • Coffee Breaks 

On-site Registration 

On-site registration will be possible ONLY for participants who are not included in the PEC 2026 Programme

Ticket: Included in the registration fee. 

Reception includes complimentary food and drinks. 

 

EISA Mobility Fund 

The EISA Mobility fund will support participants at EISA PEC 2026 with a travel grant of 600 EUR. Please note that all applying participants must register for the event. You can apply to the Mobility Fund by using the EWIS application form (to be available when applications open). The deadline for applications will be 19 February 2026. 

 

Confirmation 

Each participant will receive a registration overview and an email notification confirming receipt of payment. To view the status of your payment, go to the Online Registration Portal.

Registration fees are collected on behalf of EISA PEC by the Secretariat, CZECH-IN s.r.o., 5. května 65, CZ-14021 Prague 4, Czech Republic. All fees must be paid in EUR, free of all bank charges.

Cancellation of Registration

  • Until 2 June 2026 – a 20 EUR administrative fee will be applied. 
  • From 3 June 2026 to 30 July 2026 – a 50 % cancellation fee will be applied. 
  • From 31 July 2026, a 100 % cancellation fee will be applied. 

 

General Cancellation Conditions 

  • All cancellations must be notified in written form by email to the PEC 2026 Secretariat. 
  • For any change of name, a fee of 20 EUR will be charged. 
  • The change of registration fee type is charged with a 20 EUR administrative fee 

 

Visa-related reimbursement policy 

As a professional association representing members from more than 60 countries, we recognize that access to our events can be limited by restrictive border regimes. To lessen the potential impact of such restrictions on our members, EISA follows a non-fault refund policy for members whose attendance at our events is jeopardized by Visa delays or rejections. 

Registered participants who face attendance barriers due to Visa delays or rejections can apply for a full refund of their registration fee by the first day of the event. Please contact the EISA PEC 2026 Conference Secretariat with a copy of your Visa decision letter. 


Invitation Letter 

Delegates can download their Invitation letter from their account in the Online Registration Portal once their registration is paid in full. 

 

Certificate of Attendance

The Certificate of Attendance will be available for download in the Online Registration Portal after the Congress for all participating delegates. 

 

Insurance  

The registration fee does not include the participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage, or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance. 


Cancellation or Modification of the EISA PEC 2026 Conference in appropriate circumstances 

In appropriate circumstances, EISA reserves the right to alter or cancel the event without prior notice. This may eg include a change of time and/or venue. Any such decision shall be communicated as soon as reasonably practical. Appropriate circumstances may include circumstances beyond the reasonable control of EISA, preventing or impeding the realization of the meeting. For example, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague, or other epidemics or health concerns such as SARS, bird flu, COVID-19, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disasters, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike or other protest, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism or security concerns.

We take your privacy very seriously, and to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other data protection consent requirements, we need you to confirm that you agree with our new Privacy Policy during the process of creating the account in our system.
