EISA Portfolio: Executive Secretary of EISA (2021-2023)

I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Tuebingen (Germany). My research focus lies within the field of critical security studies and visual global politics. My recent publications include a special issue on the aesthetics and ethics of visualizing violence as well as a book chapter that discusses the methodological challenges of studying images and emotions. At the University of Tuebingen, I coordinate our Master’s program “Peace Research and International Politics” where I teach courses on conflict analysis, mediation, security institutions and ethics in IR.
