Practical Information

Accommodation

We encourage the participants to book their accommodation for the event as early as possible since the end of June will be the high tourist season in Kraków, with hotels in heavy demand.

Also, please be aware of fake hotel agencies who tend to call conference participants, contacting them and fraudulently claiming that they are doing so on behalf of the actual conference organizers and offering accommodation at advantageous rates. We advise you to book directly with the recommended hotels and hostels on the official websites in order to avoid any potential losses.

Climate and Weather

Cracow lies in a region of temperate climate. Weather changes are frequent due to the friction of humid air masses arriving from the Atlantic Ocean and dry, continental masses of air incoming from the East. The average annual temperature fluctuates between 6˚C to 10˚C. July is the warmest month and January the coldest one. Western winds, conductive to rain fall, blow during summer, whereas during winter there are predominantly eastern winds, decreasing the amount of precipitation.

Due to recent climate fluctuation you should be ready in June for a sunny, dry and nice summer-type weather, with temperatures well above 20˚C, though you cannot exclude the probability of a cold and rainy summer.
