Cancellation / Refund Policy

Due to the COVID-19 related travel restrictions as well as social distancing measures, EISA has taken the decision to cancel EWIS2020 at the ULB. Those of you who have already paid their registration fee, we would like to offer you to choose between two options: (i) either defer your registration fee to next year, or (ii) opt for a reimbursement.

Please let us know about your preference by email by 5 June.

Should you any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at ewis2020@eisa-net.org  or info@eisa-net.org.

EISA policy on non-fulfilment of commitments

Each year EISA receives many more applications for places at each of our events than we have places available. We therefore take the commitment to attend and participate in our events seriously. It is EISA policy that anyone who fails to adhere to the registration deadline of any event, before which time you could cancel your participation, will be penalized. Anyone found to be in non-fulfilment of their commitments to EISA will not be allowed to participate in any EISA events for a calendar year. Exemptions to this on medical or other exceptional grounds will be considered but please note that withdrawals past the deadline due to lack of funding or other professional or personal commitments are not considered sufficient reasons for partial refunds or for exemption from non-fulfilment of commitment penalties.

Insurance

The registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. All participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
