EISA digital town hall meeting on sustainable academic practices

What are the roles, responsibilities, room for manoeuvre and contradictions of researchers and academics in the climate and ecological emergency?

In this digital town hall meeting, we will explore the spectrum from individual actions, via institutional commitments to sustainable practices, to collective direct action.

There will be contributions highlighting a range of perspectives, including Pınar Bilgin (Bilkent) on experiences from a WISC context; Flavia Lucenti (Bologna) on the perspectives of early career scholars, Beste Isleyen (Amsterdam) as EWIS2023 convenor, and Laura Horn (Roskilde) as academic activist. Sonia Lucarelli (Bologna) as part of the EISA board will moderate.

We invite all interested EISA members to join the discussion, share their experiences and think how we can use our individual and collective agency to make our own practices more sustainable!
