Elections 2019

Dear members of the International Studies community,

2019 is yet another significant year for EISA and its members: it is election time. The Board is looking for 6 new members. Our goal is to continue with a pluralist board (gender, seniority, geography, paradigms, networks), but first and foremost we are looking for board members who are as enthusiastic about EISA as we are, and committed to advance and facilitate the International Studies community in Europe and beyond.

If you enjoy EISA activities and would like to be actively engaged in the organisation, please consider nominating yourself for the election as a board member. You can also nominate a colleague (or two) if they agree to be nominated. At the time of the nomination, candidates have to be EISA members.

Please send an email in which you express your interest and motivation, along with your ideas about your role as an EISA board member, together with a short CV to info@eisa‐net.org before 15 March 2019. Based on the applications, the nomination committee (composed of Anna Leander, Jef Huysmans and Maria Mälksoo) will select a shortlist of candidates.

After an electronic ballot, the new composition of the Board will be ratified by the General Assembly at the EISA PEC2019 in Sofia (September 2019).

For more information about the position, you can contact our Executive Secretary, Maria Mälksoo (m.malksoo@kent.ac.uk).
